Why does my computer get choppy when watching certain movies?

Basically i use my comp to watch movies when i'm bored, and recently mainly on 2 720p and 1080p movies it has gotten choppy to the point where i see like 1 frame every 5 seconds..I did this on my old comp and it worked fine exept the same thing happened with avatar on 1080p, but every other one worked, now on my new one the 2 hi def movies i got don't work either, i thought it could be the fact they're hi def and maybe it ws to much on the video card, but the same thing happened on my last comp with just one movie, and the others work, They are all downloaded, no streaming, all on a blueray player i have, and this is the first time, so far no hd videos work on this pc, but i've only tried 2, on my last comp only 1 didn't work and others did. any ideas?

Okay, my son will be three next month and we have been working on potty training for a while now and he is doing much better. A few months ago he discovered that his penis gets erect if he touches it, in the bathtub. He would say things like look mama, "It's long" or "It's big" or "It's hard." Since I was 13, I've always had issues. Before that, I was extremely skinny, literally like a twig. At 12-13, however, I ballooned... To a respectable 240 pounds. Since then, even though I am an active person, my weight drifts from 215-200. Regardless if I watch what I eat. I do not drink pop every day, mainly water, I have for years. Junk food is an uncommon occerance. I work at a golf course where I am constantly on my feet, raking, weed whacking, running when I can too and fro jobs. I eat 2-3 meals a day, toast or something quick in the morning (5:30 am) a larger meal of usually small chocolate for a quick boost of energy, maybe a burger or two, and iced tea (10am) and then a snack at 4am. I sleep at 7 pm. I am 5'11 1/2, I have been to my doctor plenty of times and he has no clue what is wrong with me. I get aches and pains too, and i can list medical problems if needed. I just want to be 170, like I should be.

I run a heavy roller over after I've seeded grass so that the seed makes good firm contact with the soil. I also sprinkle about 1/2" of ground peat moss over the top to hold moisture and protect the early seedlings from the hot sun during the day. Of course I water only in the late evening.

Uhh, I have Pearl. The team I'm planning on using for the Elite Four is Infernape, Floatzel, Chimecho, Staravia, Roserade and either Luxray or Gastrodon(probably Gastrodon). The thing is, there's a ground type in the Elite Four, which would make an electric type totally useless right there. In fact, there's nowhere in the Elite Four where you would particularly need an electric type (I don't believe.) And if I did, my Chimecho knows Shock Wave, so it's fine. Choosing from that list, I would take Empoleon, Roserade, Weavile, Garchomp, Moltres(or Arcanine), and uh... Whatever else you want. I havent battled the Elite Four on that game in a while, but I know the trainers are bug, psychic, ground and fire, so work with that. And Cynthia, the champion, has a Garchomp, so I'd have an Ice or Dragon Pokemon to take that down with. I've been playing Pearl for the past week or two and I'm one gym away from the Elite Four, so I hope this helped.

Hypothyroidism and Low t4 during pregnancy?

I am 28 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing rapid heart rate and shortness of breath. My OB tested my thyroid and my T4 levels came back low. He has referred me to an endocrinologist but my appointment isn't for a week. They said this def. could be causing my symptoms (my pulse jumps to 130-150 for no apparent reason). Earlier in my pregnancy my hair would fall out. They told me it was just the hormones. I became frustrated with my OB because she would tell me everything was fine and I knew there was something wrong. I switched to my Doctor and in about 2 weeks he had the problem figured out. My concern is that I am already 7 months pregnant and I know that this condition can have some effect on the baby. Could this have been going on the entire pregnancy and the one before that? I did have a hard time with my weight every since I hit puberty. I joined the swim team in high school thinking it would help me. We were swimming 10000 yards a day and I lost no weight at all. Could this have harmed my baby? Anyone have any experience with this?

How do you deter dogs from eating hazardous pecan nuts fallen from the tree?

I have 4 dogs & have a fruiting pecan nut tree in their backyard enclosure. Although well fed the youngest dog has discovered parts of the nut are edible & now another of my dogs is showing interest in these potentially dangerous thin shelled nuts. The pecan is like walnuts, with the nut found in hard fibrous chambers inside. The sharply edged shell fragments are indigestible & the sharp shell of the nut can cause intestinal damage to dogs. Why wont my queen ant rake care of her eggs.?

I recently captured some ants. They are all argentine ants. I caught one queen, 3 alates(I dont know what genders they are), and 10 workers. I do not yet have a suitable ant farm(I want a realistic one not an uncle milton style.) so they are living in a two test tube setup. On the first day all of the workers slowly left their queen and went to the test tube with water and food. Eventually the queen went to them and they were fine for about a day. Then one alate and two workers died. The queen has layed two eggs but is ignoreing them. Argentine ants are polygamous so it should not matter but they are not doing anything. I thought the test tube was too dry so I added a one that follows a test tube setup, but the workers will not even move. They only sit there eating and drinking while surveying the test tube. I think I have postpartum ocd. I had a dream the day we brought our son home from the hospital that I was sitting on the couch hugging him with one arm and then when I looked in my other there was a knife. In the dream I screamed and threw the knife across the room and hugged my baby. Ever since that dream.. Actually NIGHTMARE, I have been an emotional wreck and have been noticing ocd symptoms in myself. I have always had minor ocd.. I think anyway. I count things touch things repeditly and I have also had some bad thoughts but I would always be able to tell myself they are just thoughts and I would never act on them and would be able to calm myself. And I have always had a fear of sleepwalking. I have never sleptwalk in my whole life but I heard some crazy stories about dangerous sleepwalking and the thought has always scared me to death. Especially after this dream. I'm now afraid I will sleep walk and hurt my baby. Every night before bed I hide the knives in a very hard to get place incase I sleepwalk.. I constantly check to make sure all the windows and doors are locked, I move objects infrom of my door blocking it so it would be hard for me to leave the room and also block the path to the kitchen in case I sleepwalk and try to get in there. I have also thrown out alot of sharp objects, sissors, pens, and so on. My husband won't let me throw out the knives or I would have by now. I DON't ever want to hurt my baby. I love him so much. I can't get over this dream I don't know why I had it. I replay it over and over and over in my head all day long. The thoughts are killing me! I saw a councelor who thinks it's def ocd but she's not much help. She just says slowly try to stop putting up barriors to the kitchen and stop hiding knives and says it's an irrational fear cause I have never been a sleepwalker. But still, I can't stop. Cat problem, socialising a stray?

I found a stray 6 weeks ago. A neighbour called thinking she was my cat Ruby who went missing 4 months ago. It wasn't her but I took her in as she was covered in parasites and her long fur was falling out, she was thin as a rake and in agony. I have been doing my law finals revision for the last 2 months, so I have spent about 2 hours a day with Grace (the name I gave her) I think she benefitted from the peace quiet and routine and she has blossomed, been treated for the critters and is in my outhouse which is warm cozy, furniture just like another room in the house really. I didn't want an infestation in my home and more imprtantly my boy cat fatty, son of Ruby is in the house. Fatty is the softest and sweetest natured cat ever, he helped his mum look after her second litter of kittens and is an absolute angel with other cats, he is such a happy little thing and I din't want him to feel dominated in his own home. Grace is also a softie, with me....but I have been bringing fatty into the outhouse every morning for half an hour. First time, he went up to her carefully but excited to find a new friend (he is spayed by the way so I know she cant be in fear of that) He's very careful to not appear threatening to her, very cautious, doesnt make eye contact and turns his back slowly to her which I know is a sign of trust, and a signal they want peace. Thing is she gets really funny with him, low growls and miowing loudly, although she hasnt tried to go for him, she's really not the type, you can tell shes been mistreated because she freaks out about really odd things like when I picked up a chair to move it once. Not sure whether these morning introductions are doing more harm than good, fatty is very quiet when he gets back in the house and just gives me this sad look. I really wanted to give her a home but I can't bring her in the house and I can't keep her in the outhouse forever she needs the kind of tender loving care I am giving her but from someone with no kids and no other pets...I think. What doesn everyone else think? Any experience of this? I want them BOTH to be happy, and I'm not prepared to compromise fattys happiness. Why does my computer get choppy when watching certain movies?

How do I start a new lawn in clay ground?

I just moved into a new contrusction home, and I ruined the seed planted in the backyard while working on my patio. The ground is mainly clay. It is very difficult to dig through, rake, etc. There is crab grass every so often in patches, but that's about it it. I purchased top soil that I plan on spreading out over the clay once I am able to treat the ground first. I don't agree when baby docs try to get you to make your baby eat at 6 months, and I watched my mom and sister raise all their babies on breast milk for the first year, but now my baby is needing to nurse more and I am now thinking he may need solids? I was trying to hurry and find an appropriate pair before my dad and his cronies got annoyed with me; I seemed a little afraid of them. There were students around and I felt too old and out of place with them. Steve Carell from "The Office" was there, along with a small disparate group of others with whom I seemed to be staying. Steve was playing pranks on everyone. I had been wearing shoes but took them off when I came into the house. Steve came in and asked me if I wanted to go for a walk with him and the others, and I said yes. He went out, and I started looking for the shoes I'd taken off, but could only find one. I suspected that Steve had taken it as a joke. As if to confirm this, he came in and, with a smirk, said something like, "What's taking so long?" You could tell he wanted me to be all befuddled and say something like, "I can't find my other shoe! I can't go anywhere without my other shoe!" But, instead, I walked over to a big pile of old shoes and said, "I can't find my other shoe, but luckily I have a whole pile here to choose from, so I'll just be a second." Then, in the way you can in dreams, I saw Steve outside (though I was inside) saying to what would have been the camera on a TV show, "They didn't have a pile of shoes in 'The Tempest'," clearly nonplussed that his joke had backfired. I could see my other shoe laying on the doorstep at his feet. But even though I had both my shoes back, I chose to wear the rather raggedy pair I'd taken from the pile and started on our walk. I don't know if it's relevant, but when I was the mobster's daughter, all the shoes in the pile were shades of black, or maybe darkest blue. When I was with Steve Carell in the campus-like setting, all the shoes in the pile were shades of brown/tan. But all the shoes in each scenario were very well worn, if not falling apart. I don't remember if I ever found a matching pair that seemed appropriate in the mobster scenario, but I was quite comfortable in the worn-out clogs I chose in the Carell scenario, choosing to stick with those even when the shoes I'd been wearing at the top of that part of the dream (but had removed to go into the house) had been restored to me. I receive hi-def cable TV. What is the data rate of the signal that the cable company sends to my home? I assume this is a compressed signal. How does it compare to an uncompressed signal needed to decode the 0s and 1s into a picture? I took off her diaper and just let her run around naked she went on the floor twice and then after she noticed what she did she started sitting on the potty all by herself. I took the pregnancy test & watched it for a min & went into the other room to get my 2yo. out of bed and changed his diaper. I walked back into the bathroom and it was still just one line. It was at least 3 min (test says 1 to 3min). The test at this point was just negative so I tossed it in the trash. An hour later I went to the bathroom and I pulled it back out and it was positive. I'm not sure what to think at this point. Has something similar ever happen to anyone and it turn out to be that they were in fact pregnant? I am def going to retake tomorrow.

I've watched it countless times and would agree that it is right-leaning. However, networks like CNN and MSNBC have just as strong left-bias and I have watched both of these countless times as well, yet there is a lot less talk of these biases. People like Bill O'Reilly, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, and Rush Limbaugh (not on Fox News but a conservative political commentator) are so antagonized by the public, yet I can't think of a single liberal who has this type of reputation. Is it because there are no significant liberal commentators? I def don't consider Keith Olbermann to be significant. Most people don't even know who he is.

Joining a weight losing club helps tremendously. If you can not afford it, get some overweight friend or acquaintances and form your own club. Every week a weigh in at some ones place is a great motivation to stick to low carb diet. It is amazing how much weight you can lose by just cutting out and potatoes and pasta's. Why do people like Goodfellas so much?

I mean no disrespect to Martin Scorcese or anyone that does like it, I just wasn't a fan. It's amassed a fairly large cult following, has received very positive reviews, and multiple awards sure enough, but I just didn't like it that much. For starters, to me it lacked a central plotline; it was just mobsters doing what mobsters do and it followed the true story pretty much to a t leaving little room for creative improvisation. I don't really care much for realism in movies; I just enjoy escaping from reality to see something that the world isn't. I know it was based off of a true story, but even Casino (another Scorcese film) was based off a true story and it managed to improvise a bit, as such I enjoyed it a lot more. Secondly, Lorraine Bracco; I'd be lying if I said I enjoyed her performance very much, though the rest of the acting wasn't bad. To me she lacks emotion in her acting; that aside her character was very uninteresting to me; she just whines about how much she hated her husband even though he refused to leave him, and even ended up enabling his drug habits. This was another category where I belive Casino was superior; aside from the fact that Sharon Stone (the correlating wife figure) is an incredible actress in general, her character was actually interesting; she made me hate her, and if an actress can make you hate her character she's done her job in my opinion; Lorraine Bracco's character was just annoying. Anyway, that's just my opinion; feel free to leave yours.
