What if a girl asks me how are the girls?

ok so there was this girl that i hung out with once that thought i was cute prior to the hang out and thats actually why we hung out, cuz i started to talking to her and we kind of hit it off. but after the hangout she thought i was a little awkward, and i was. I def was not on my A game that day and idk why but for some reason that day just sucked in every way it could have. so we stopped talking and for about 9 days i heard nothing from her and then she texts me. we have a brief exchange of words. 3 days later i text her and we have a nice conversation and i asked if she was ok and she said yea i'm fine and then asked me "how are the girls ;)" did she ask that cuz she wants to be friendly and be friends or for no reason or did she ask cuz she's wondering if i'm seeing anybody? i told her that i hooked up with a girl about a week ago, which i did... also if i was awkward the first time we hung out (2nd time technically, the first itme i was drunk and she liked me smile and thought i was cute) do i still have a chance? also after so long why would she text me out of the blue? and of course the question i asked earlier about the "how are the girls ;)". and it was out of the blue not just that, but she also said on facebook that if she's not talking to certain people it means she's cutting them out of her life (paraphrase). ok PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
