You know the answer better than any so-called expert..he was a user who charmed everyone including you..It is not your fault and feeling any guilt is not something that you should let yourself ever ponder..Psychologists have their own demons to deal with as I know from having one as a Sister-In-Law..I'm surprised anyone listens to her especially if they knew she spends many days a week in therapy herself..People are willing to let things slip if they think the person is likable and caring but as we know that can be a public front and the private one can be another..very dangerous and life threatening experience.
