Whats the 90's Television show?

Ok I know it was in the 90's, it was about these teenage kids, it has to do with a light house I believe. The episode was about a boy falling in love with a tree. The tree was a woman tree and they fall in love and the teenage boy gets pregnant. I think they even had accents? Please help me figure out this show! Crazy things would keep happening to these kids and it is def. Sci Fi.
