I have an LG lcd 32inch�hi-def and my ps3 does not work?

i just hooked up my ps3 to my LG LCD HI-DEF 32 inch tv with a HI SPEED HDMI CABLE on HDMI 1 because the tv has 3 hdmi outputs and when i go to hdmi 1 (in which my ps3 is hooked up to ),it does not work.I mean my ps3 is on and i don't see any of the ps3 material on my tv!!!!!note!! i have my satelite reciever with the same type of hdmi cable hooked to hydmi 2 and it works!! I need help!! REASON FOR THIS IS BECAUSE I AM STREAMING NETFLIX THROUGH MY PS3!!!
